(More customer reviews)I got two of these mirrors for my bicycle. Here is my experience after 1 year:
- When new: the distortion in the "mirrors" was horrible. Noticed that the reflective surface was made of plastic with chrome paint... Dangerous to use when riding in the streets.
- After 2 months: the "mirror" starting loosing the chrome paint, and tons of dark dots on it. At this point was almost useless. Got worst over time.
- After 1 year: placed the bike on a wall surface. Apparently the handlebar hit the wall too fast for this item. As a result the mirror base broke in tons of pieces, not a crack in the plastic, but similar to a charcoal being hit with a hammer. Pulverized...unrepairable. By the way, the bicycle have been always stored in a garage with no direct sun, and temperature in 65-70F average.
With the previous facts can easily conclude that its quality is not equivalent to the $33 I paid for this item, including shipping.
Hope this helps prevent somebody else having my same mistake.
