(More customer reviews)The stand can support the weight of a moutain bike without tipping over... but barely. The list price of $150 is a joke but for $25+shipping it's better than nothing.
Bear in mind that it isn't a full featured repair stand. If you have cables running below your downtube they'll get pinched so you may not be able to shift (especially if the cables are not contained in a housing). The fact that the bike can only be positioned horizontally may also be limiting. This having been said, if you're just looking to keep your bike maintained or for a portable stand, this isn't a bad option.
