(More customer reviews)Let me start off by saying that I'm a female MTB off-road rider, and am by no means an "expert" on bike parts. I bought these tires as a step up from the factory cheapo tires my Specialized hard-tail came with. They made a noticeable difference gripping the trails. It's easier to take downhill and tight corners on off-road trails. In normal to dry conditions they work great. They start to slip on muddy to wet conditions (especially on wet rocks), but I probably shouldn't have been on the trails in those conditions anyway....
