I cycle about 4,000 miles a year with fast, competitive riders. I used to use Look pedals, but when I had to replace my last pair due to squeaks that wouldn't' go away, I did some research and bought the Shimano PD-7810 Dura Ace pedals instead. I've ridden them now for almost two years and it's just about time to replace my first set of cleats.
PROS:
1. Comfortable, secure fit between cleat and the pedal due to wide platform.
2. Easy to clip in and out. Tension can be adjusted.
3. The bottom of the cleat has yellow tabs which contact the ground when you are walking. Therefore, the parts of the cleat that touch the pedal never touch the ground. This makes walking much easier and keeps dirt away from the pedal so that wear is reduced.
4. When the body cover becomes worn, it can be unscrewed and replaced.

CONS: None
TIP: To reduce wear, clean the pedals and cleats before each ride.
