I've always ridden on 21 or 23 tires but was pleasantly surprised how quickly I got used to these. They are very comfy on the rough roads around here. I have not tested their ultimate cornering grip and suspect it is down from my usual Axial Carbon Pros - but I was getting punctures nearly every ride lately.
So once over the geeky factor of wide format tires I think they make a good choice when roads are rough. Read the article on the Rivendell site about tires. Interesting.
